Coming Soon!
Hi, I'm Curly, The Magical Dragon. I'd like to tell you about a new way to produce Photo Books and Scrapbooks.
You've captured an emotional moment in time, the best way to remember it is to make a book with your best shots - to look at for years. It can be a tiny book or a larger book with 8 pages or hundreds.
We love PhotoBooks, too, and they make great gifts that show creativity and thoughtfulness. The only downside is we think they can be over priced and not always user friendly. We are a solid team of graphics and data professionals with years of experience in printing highly personalized books, and now are jumping at the opportunity to offer quality photo books at the lowest prices. Having years of experience in producing one of a kind customized books, guarantees quality and prices only very efficient producers can offer. So, we designed our own software and will shortly open to the world our website guaranteeing to make Quality PhotoBooks at Cheaper Prices! How cheap? We will start at $1.99! How? Sorry, a Magician never tells!
We plan to offer beta sites soon. If you would like to be a beta tester, please write jma@CheapPhotoBooks.Com and we will select many to make prototypes and proofs of concept.
Coming soon, you will simply log on and it's as easy as 1-2-3! Preserve your memories, in a beautiful photo book, for as little as $1.99. And remember to use this free shipping code: FSC010 for your first book. www.CheapPhotoBooks.Com, 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed.

Seth nails it , again!

Snarky Vs Earnest
Seth Godin has a keen ability to wake us up with a few words. Here is todays:
"In the ongoing battle between dismissive irony and well-intentioned trustworthiness, the early rounds always seem to go to those that sell snark.
Snark is clever and funny and easy to spread. Snark protects us from confronting the truth of the situation, and snark is incredibly easy to do. Snark is fun, but it doesn't look good on you.
In the long run, though, it's those with right intention, a long term view and consistent persistence that manage to win.
Good thing, too."
I think some might think that I cross this line sometimes and I don't mean to. But, when I do, it is a personality defect and not intentioned. So, this is my apology for any past transgressions and my excuse for any in the future. I think everything I write is brilliant, incisive and helpful. Beauty, however, is always in the eye of the beholder :) Poof, it's done!

Learning from other viewpoints. . .

I will use Google before asking dumb questions!
I just read an interesting piece from Chris Brogan. His thesis and one that I often try to explain is that you can learn much about how to do things without being a fan of what was done by others. Put another way, I am not completely worthless because I can always serve as a bad example.I read a book about the Obama campaign and recommended it to others as a primer to social marketing. I carefully explained that I was not endorsing or not endorsing the candidate (actually by then the President Elect.) I wanted everyone to read it, that cared about social marketing. Good read, clearly written, a road map to Y3K. I either got no reaction or negative reactions but none positive. Of course, I expected it, except for some I thought might get it.
One doesn't need to be friend or foe to Chrysler to use the company as a bad example. One doesn't need to like FORDs to use the company as a lucky example. One does not need to be a Twit to use Twitter as a good example of a force looking for traction or maybe just the opposite.
Who was it that said: "There are none so dumb, as those who will not see?"
There is much to learn but don't take shots at the messenger or they will be quiet.
Poof, it's done!

… IN FAITH
Children’s Board Book Printer
April 9, 2009
After many months of searching and research, we are finally narrowing in on a printer for our Christian children’s board books.
Originally, we had a quote from a printer, but that company no longer produces board books. As a result, we initiated another search several months ago and have reviewed the services of various companies. Based on this analysis, we believe Artful Dragon Press will be able to meet the specific requirements of our current and future books.
Artful Dragon Press is a U.S. office established to provide easier access to International printers. As previously mentioned, we had hoped to find a company producing children’s board books domestically, but this arrangement seems to be the best available option.
The staff at Artful Dragon Press has been great. Throughout the analysis, they:
- loaned us several sample books with free shipping
- completed independent safety analysis on the materials in some sample books and shared the results
- patiently answered numerous questions
- provided multiple quotes for our varying requirements
Based on the service we have received, their ability to accommodate all of our special requests, a domestic presence, and the fact that the quotes appear to be competitive with other companies; we believe Artful Dragon Press is the right choice for Learn As You Grow.
It isn't often that people say thank you for working on a project, which has not yet been produced. These kind people recognize that there are dozens's of people who are involved. While not endorsing any particular faith, we do want to say thank you and wish you well in your work. Poof, it's done!
